Municipal Thermal Energy Enterprise in Krakow is a joint-stock company whose methods of organization, management and operation are regulated by the relevant provisions of the Commercial Code.
The Municipality of the City of Krakow if the 100% owner of the company's shares which are disposed of by the Mayor of the City of Krakow. Shares owned by the Municipality: MPEC SA, MPK SA and MPWiK SA were brought in 1999 to the newly formed Company - Krakowski Holding Komunalny. The subject of the company's activities includes, among others, the production and supply of steam, hot water and air for air conditioning systems, construction works related to the construction of residential and non-residential buildings, water, sewage, heating, gas and air conditioning installations.
