The General Meeting of Members is the supreme body of the Chamber. It lies within its competence to:

  • Appoint and remove by secret ballot members of the Council, the Auditing Committee, and the Court of Honour,
  • Adopt resolutions outlining the strategy for the Chamber,
  • Grant the vote of acceptance to members of the Council for the previous calendar year upon evaluation of the Council’s annual activity report and the financial report submitted by the Auditing Committee,
  • Amend the Statute of the Chamber,
  • Adopt a resolution to dissolve the Chamber,
  • Adopt a resolution defining the yearly membership fee,
  • Make by-laws for the General Meeting of Members and the Auditing Committee,
  • Examine appeals against the Council’s decisions,
  • Adopt resolutions pertaining to spending the balance surplus or covering losses.
